What You Will Do
By the completion of training, your minimum learning goals will include: Program, troubleshoot, and maintain electrical equipment and systems using the following tools and skill sets:
- Working with Allen Bradley PLC and Control Logix
- Working with Intouch HMI
- Using a computer, networking, and Microsoft
- Read Assembly drawings, schematics, and equipment layouts
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electronic circuits and control devices
- Understand and use data to improve productivity
- Adhere to all plant safety and environmental guidelines, policies, and procedures
- Assist crew members and work in a team environment
- Correctly choose and wear personal protection equipment (PPE)
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- Currently enrolled in or registering for an Associate’s Degree in Electrical or Electromechanical with an accredited technical or college electrical program in the Region
What Will Put You Ahead
- Recent graduate of an accredited technical or college electrical program
- Experience working in a lumber or wood products facility
- Experience operating and/or troubleshooting industrial equipment
- Experience working in an industrial or manufacturing experience
- Experience reading technical drawings and schematics
