Job Description: As a Registered Nurse at our healthcare facility in Abu Dhabi you will play a vital role in delivering comprehensive nursing care to patients across various medical specialities. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to assess plan implement and evaluate patient care interventions in accordance with established standards and protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care including assessments monitoring medication administration wound care and other nursing interventions ensuring the safety comfort and wellbeing of patients at all times.
- Collaborate with physicians specialists and other members of the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans based on patients unique needs conditions and preferences.
- Maintain accurate and uptodate patient records including nursing assessments care plans progress notes and medication administration records in accordance with regulatory requirements and organizational policies.
- Educate patients and their families about their health conditions treatment plans medications and selfcare practices empowering them to actively participate in their care and make informed decisions.
- Adhere to infection control protocols safety standards and regulatory guidelines to prevent the spread of infections and ensure a safe and hygienic environment for patients staff and visitors.
- Monitor and evaluate patients responses to treatments and interventions recognizing and promptly addressing any changes in their condition or unexpected complications.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives performance improvement activities and interdisciplinary rounds to enhance patient outcomes optimize healthcare delivery processes and promote a culture of continuous improvement.
- Maintain professional competence and stay updated on best practices evidencebased guidelines and advances in nursing practice through ongoing education training and professional development activities.
- Demonstrate professionalism integrity empathy and respect in all interactions with patients families colleagues and other stakeholders fostering a positive and supportive healthcare environment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Nursing or equivalent from an accredited institution.
- With a DOH/DHA license or DOH/DHA Eligibility.
- Must have a minimum of 2 years experience in Hospital / Homecare / Medical Center as a Nurse or fresh graduate.
- Does not have a gap of practice for more than 6 months
- Fluent in English & Arabic.
