Applus+ IN ARAB EMIRATES In 1995, VELOSI established a European presence with the opening of its UK offices. We also moved into the Middle Eastern markets, opening offices in the UAE, Qatar and Oman in 1996 and Kuwait in 1997. The late 1990s saw it secure more major contracts in the Middle East and on the heels of that, the company successfully established VELOSI USA. The first few years of the 21st century saw the expansion and growth of the VELOSI Group, enabling it to offer an even wider range of inspection, evaluation and monitoring services worldwide. In early 2005, VELOSI established a presence on another continent, after securing its first African contract. Finally, in March 2011, VELOSI was delisted when it joined the Applus+ Group.
